About this recipe
These are my answer to wanting something that feels indulgent but doesn’t wreck my whole day. No baking, no fancy equipment, just yogurt, a little sweetness, and whatever fruit I have on hand. I love making a batch of these when I want something to snack on through the week — they’re rich, a little tangy from the yogurt, and the chocolate shell makes them feel way more special than the five minutes of effort they actually take.
Key ingredients:
Greek yogurt — the base of the “cheesecake” filling. It gives that tangy, creamy texture without needing actual cream cheese, plus a solid protein boost.
Biscuits — crushed into the yogurt mixture to help the “dough” hold its shape around the fruit.
Coconut flakes — adds texture and a subtle sweetness to the filling, and helps bind everything together.
Fresh fruit — kiwi and strawberries are hidden inside each ball, so you get a juicy surprise in the middle.
Chocolate + coconut oil — melted together for a smooth, glossy shell that sets perfectly in the fridge. The coconut oil keeps the chocolate from being too thick to coat with.
Common questions:
Can I use different fruit? Yes, just make sure it’s firm enough to hold its shape once wrapped — berries, kiwi, or even mango chunks work well.
Why freeze them before dipping in chocolate? Freezing firms up the yogurt “dough” so it holds together when you coat it in warm melted chocolate, instead of falling apart.
Can I skip the coconut flakes? You can, but they help bind the mixture, so you may need to add a little more crushed biscuit to compensate.
Ingredients (makes 5 bites):
• 200g ( ¾ cup) Greek yogurt
• 1 tbsp honey
• 35g (4 pieces) biscuits, crushed
• 100g ( 1 cup) shredded coconut
• 150g ( 1 cup) chocolate
• 2-3 tbsp coconut oil
• 1 kiwi
• 3 strawberries
Instructions:
Mix the Greek yogurt with honey and shredded coconut to form a dough-like mixture.

Wash and peel the strawberries and kiwi (cut the kiwi in half).
Wrap the yogurt mixture around each piece of fruit, forming a ball.
Repeat until all the fruit is covered.
Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Melt the chocolate together with the coconut oil, then coat each ball in the melted chocolate.
Refrigerate for 3–4 hours before serving.
